What is a drop taxi?

A drop taxi is a private, one-way cab that takes you from your pickup location to your destination, where your trip ends. With Kushi Taxi, your fare is based on the booked one-way journey, subject to the minimum billed distance and applicable charges. You do not pay return kilometres for the car's journey back.

“Drop taxi”, “one way taxi” and “one way cab” describe the same type of service. Kushi Taxi is an online booking service for outstation journeys across Tamil Nadu, with Bangalore and other interstate requests checked by our team.

Drop taxi fares: compare Sedan and SUV

The estimated base fare combines your one-way distance charge and a ₹400 driver allowance, added once per booking. The minimum billed distance is 130 km, including for shorter trips.

These are base estimates, not all-inclusive trip totals. Tolls, parking and permits are extra. Waiting and other applicable charges are explained below. Routes that cannot be priced online, including some interstate journeys, need a team quote.

How your estimate is calculated

Estimated base fare = billed one-way kilometres × vehicle rate + ₹400 driver allowance.

The routed distance is rounded up to the next whole kilometre, then the 130 km minimum is applied.

What is included, and what costs extra?

A per-kilometre rate is only part of the price. Check the base estimate alongside the charges that apply to your journey.

Included in the base estimate: The billed one-way distance charge and one ₹400 driver allowance. The allowance is already included in the examples above.
Tolls, parking and permits: Extra, payable by the customer. A toll estimate may appear separately when available; it is approximate and is not added to the base estimate. An unavailable toll estimate does not mean there are no tolls.
Meal and restroom waiting: Up to 30 minutes of waiting in total is free for these breaks during your trip. After that, waiting is ₹120/hour for a Sedan or ₹150/hour for an SUV, rounded up to the next full hour.
Other applicable charges: Fares include 5% GST. There is no hill or pet surcharge. Mention extra stops and special requirements when you request a quote.

On an interstate route a state permit also applies, paid separately (shown on the route page); a trip between two places outside Tamil Nadu is quoted by our team.

Can I book from a village or a place that is not listed?

Yes. You can request pickup or drop at an address across Tamil Nadu, including towns and villages without a dedicated page. Enter the location manually if it is missing from the suggestions. Our team will confirm access, the route and the fare.

Can I request an early-morning, late-night or same-day pickup?

Yes, you can request these pickup times. Our support team is available 24/7, but a car is subject to availability for your location and time. Wait for the team's confirmation before treating the trip as booked.

What happens if the website cannot calculate my fare?

Send the pickup and destination for a team quote. Manually entered locations, some interstate journeys and other routes may need review. A missing estimate is not a zero fare or a confirmed price.

Can I choose a specific car model?

You can select a Sedan or SUV category. If you prefer a particular model, include it in your request. The team must confirm the model, seating and luggage space; the example cars on this page are not guaranteed for every trip.

Can we stop for food or a restroom break?

Yes. Up to 30 minutes of waiting in total is free for meal and restroom breaks during the trip; the waiting rates above apply after that. Tell us in advance about sightseeing, a long stop or an extra drop so the team can check the route and charges.

What does it cost to cancel a confirmed trip?

If you cancel at least 6 hours before your confirmed pickup time and before the driver has arrived, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 6 hours before pickup and the driver has not arrived, the fee is ₹200. After the driver has arrived at the pickup point, the fee is ₹300. Only one fee applies. If we cancel a confirmed trip, we refund everything you have paid and pay you ₹200 when we cancel less than 6 hours before pickup, or ₹300 if no car comes or we cancel after the pickup time.

Can I change my confirmed pickup time?

You can ask to change your pickup time at least 4 hours before your currently confirmed pickup. A change is only confirmed once our team accepts the new time. Contact +91 948 711 7000 to discuss it.
